First time I have used them and great
First time I have used them and great! Ordered 3 boys joules items in the sale at a great price, received emailed confirmation straight away, tracking detailed provided, items all correct and fairly fast delivery! Will definitely use again!
Won't be going back
This is a review of the café attached to the petshop.
Sat next to a sign that said platinum special, scone and any hot drink. I had ordered a scone and a latte so that was good except that when I paid she rang them up separately and charged a lot more. She explained if you want the special price you have to ask for it first.
Didn't want to make a fuss so paid up feeling a bit ripped off and asked for the toilet. She explained there is no customer toilet and explained they don't have to legally because they don't have enough tables to make it compulsory.
She did not explain that there are public toilets in the town centre. I hurried for the bus home and spotted the toilets through the bus window once it was too late. Very unhelpful, arrived home legs crossed, ripped off and inconvenienced if you'll pardon the pun.
Stokesley is lovely, I'll go back. A good first impression of the café might have made me a regular customer, but now it's a case of any other café but that one.
6 days and still no delivery
I am very dissatisfied with the experience, 6 days and still no delivery. Given a tracking number that doesn’t exist and then told I would recieve the item yesterday at 9am-10am still nothing and an email saying they had attempted delivery- not true I stayed home to get the shoes as they were for an even in that day ! Emailed and no reply.

I could not be more delighted with the way I have been looked after by the lovely Millbry Hill staff. They always give the all important personal touch and this means it is always a pleasure to shop at the stores.
I will be raising a glass of something nice tonight to toast the whole Millbry Hill team and wish them more success in the future.

Very poor service
Just left the shop and will not be back. Spent 20 min in there without as much as a Hi or Can we help you. 2 ppl of staff and one other customer. Supposed to purchase a helmet, shoes and a vest but went to R&R Country instead.
Grace to the rescue ?
Having had a poor experience with Millbry Hill & poor customer service, follow up & care by some staff, Grace took on my issues and was courteous & professional.
Received a lovely email from her with an apology & good will gesture, which is all I wanted.
She went above and beyond & is a credit to Millbry Hill, totally understand that postal/courier service is under pressure & we're all human, mistakes happen.
Really appreciate the support from Grace & time taken.

I just order a bag Versele-Laga Traditional Liege Special Pigeon Feed and I received different product after sending the photo with wrong product and email them still no answer.

Amazing Customer Service
Amazing Customer Service! I bought a pair of country boots which were faulty and Milbry Hill went above and beyond to help me send the the brand the information they needed to refund.
Not the first time I've had great service from Milbry Hill. All the staff are helpful, friendly and are able to use their initiative.

Woeful Service & Attitude Millbry Hill
Needing to order some food for my dog, & not wishing to run out (allowing plenty of time) I ordered 2 x 15Kg bags of Gain 28 from M Hill on Weds 22nd Sept at approx 10am. To ensure I was ordering in plenty of time, I also paid the £8.99 delivery charge-which according to their site is 1-2 days. Assuming my order was being processed as they'd taken my money, on the afternoon of the 23rd I received an e-mail to say my order was delayed-they had no stock. I saw the e-mail on the 24th so complained stating there was no idea of delivery or anything on their mail & it had taken them 1.5 days to tell me there was no stock. They answered me the same day, 24th, no apology & some excuse about stock system & the stock would be coming from their Whitehaven store on the coming Monday 27th & would be dispatched later that day. To be certain I questioned that as I had paid for 1-2 day delivery it would surely be delivered the next day-28th. They told me they couldn't guarantee next day so I asked when my order was being dispatched. The upshot is they then said their shipment was coming in on the 30th but couldn't guarantee delivery before Monday 4th October. I was told they were sorry (took them long enough) & I could have the delivery charge refunded if I wanted to wait or they would cancel the order. Upshot is I wanted it confirming so I knew how much food to buy my dog in the meantime as we had run out due to their lack of delivery, they couldn't commit, so they have cancelled my order & organised a refund. The point that annoys me is that they took my money with no stock to supply me in the paid for time slot of 1-2 days & the initial response was, not "I'm really sorry" but it was due to a 24 minute window in their system of which I care not. Had they not took my order and messed me about I would have ordered it elsewhere and had it in plenty of time instead of being inconvenienced. I suggest that you treat your customers better & maybe with a little more in the way of an apology when you do cock-up or you'll end up with none & you're screwed without them. I won't use these lot again & would have left no stars if possible.

Appalling in every aspect AVOID
My delivery was dispatched late with zero explanation or apology as to why, delivered in perfectly good time by the couriers so they are not at fault at all.
When it eventually arrived the box looked like someone had played football with it for the past 8 days, it was a complete mess.
Again not a fault of the courier it had just been so badly packaged!
My order included an 11kg bag of megazorb but they had seen fit to use one piece of tape to secure the box closed?!
Because the box was so badly secured the top had burst open and the bag of megazorb had either exploded from impact or been punctured.
Customer service was appalling, sorry that I ‘wasn’t happy’ but no acceptance of how horrifically they had packaged the item and tried to deny that the box was open enough to allow anything inside to be damaged - apparently the 4 images sent of various angles of the box literally hanging open weren’t enough to satisfy them.
Having looked at previous reviews I see it’s a common theme for their ‘customer service’ advisors to lie in order to avoid accountability.
Complete disgrace and I would advise anyone ordering anything heavier than a teaspoon to avoid!

I ordered and paid for Effol Hoof Oil…
I ordered and paid for Effol Hoof Oil Tins. They sent only one Tin. I contacted the Sales Team. They initially claimed that they had sent two tins and one tin have been damaged or lost during shipment. They were clearly lying and when I showed my evidence that they have sent only one they refunded 40% of the original payment!!! They were not prepared to accept their fault for the whole saga. I usually trust online business but this one is disgrace for the whole business community. Their business model is based on deception. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AS FAR AS POSSIBLE.
Fantastic Customer Service!
I hadn’t shopped with Millbry Hill for a number of years but was impressed by the extensive range of products they offered online for home delivery. I opted to purchase 4 items and the transaction went through smoothly, with a confirmation of order email coming through straight away to confirm my order had been successfully received.
I ordered on the Bank Holiday Weekend so expected my items not to be posted until the following week. On the Thursday, I received 2 out of the 4 items of my order and through messaging the customer service team, they said the other items were at another warehouse and would be with me soon. A few days passed and still no sign of these items so again, I contacted customer services. Unfortunately, I was informed that these items were no longer stocked by the warehouses and the items I was expecting went missing somewhere along the postage process. This was fully explained to me by customer services and I received a full refund for the missing items.
Overall, it was a positive experience and I’d recommend to anyone looking for some fantastic deals on items, many of which are cheaper than the market average. The only criticisms I have is that I did not receive the promised item dispatch emails once my order had been sent to the courier, meaning I was left in limbo as to when the items would arrive. It would also be good if stock levels were perhaps updated more frequently, especially when it looks like an item is available when in fact it’s not. Obviously this cannot be helped sometimes, especially if there’s been a large influx of orders that day, however, it would be a good feature to know what you’re ordering is definitely going to be fulfilled.
The items I did receive were packaged well and I’d definitely use this service again. A huge thank you to Charlotte who was on hand to reply to my emails about my order and make sure any issues were sorted promptly. A true credit to the customer service team!

Items I ordered did not arrive
Ordered rabbit pellets and readigrass. Only received the pellets and not the bags of readigrass, emailed customer service and they said it would be delivered separately however no tracking or confirmation of dispatch. It did not arrive on the day they said or the next day so I emailed again (twice), only to not get any reply. I then called them and was told to wait a couple more days and it should arrive early next week. Given I didn’t even have a tracking number for this ‘other package’ and I had different answers from different people (I asked if it had been dispatched, they said if it hadn’t already, it would be dispatched today despite being told it would be delivered yesterday!) I was sceptical that it had even been sent so I opened a PayPal case asking them to upload tracking. They then uploaded tracking for the bag of pellets I had already received and tried to claim that the readigrass had ‘actually been delivered yesterday’ which I was not impressed with considering they had advised me the previous day that ‘it would arrive seperately’. Luckily I had kept all my emails and uploaded them as evidence which is then when they offered me a refund. Not sure I trust them to be honest and I won’t be ordering from them again as they clearly had not sent the other items I had ordered.

Do not order from Millbry Hill unless you order weeks in advance. Terrible delayed delivery (over 2 weeks for a bargain price £7.99) and zero help from customer service.

First time ordering and will not be returning, ordered 3 products containing holland cooper, first of all i ordered the Grey leggings which had white style writing on it on the PHOTO ON THE WEBSITE only to receive a Slate grey pair with gold writing on, the leggings I received match the holland cooper website but not millbry website completely different pictures and description... false advertisement, secondly received a hc white base layer pulled it out the package and it was filthy covered in what appeared mud or dust and looks worn, don’t expect to spend £200+ on a company to be sent the wrong items and to have muddy clothes not amused one bit wish i read the reviews better because its all true.
